Two wavelengths in one handpiece
Combining 810 nm and 940 nm pairs strong melanin absorption with deeper penetration towards the follicle. One handpiece therefore covers a wide range of hair types – from coarse to finer – without changing equipment.
Two handpieces connected at once
Up to two handpieces can be connected at the same time – e.g. a large one for legs and back and a smaller one for face and underarms. Switching happens without interrupting the session, shortening combined appointments.
Intuitive 10.1″ interface
The touchscreen guides the operator step by step: area, skin type, hair density and thickness. This makes onboarding new staff easier and helps standardise treatments across the team.

Questions & answers
Which skin types is MeDioStar intended for?
The device menu guides parameter selection for light and medium skin types. Darker or tanned skin requires particular caution, a test spot and conservative settings; the manufacturer also offers dedicated handpieces for such cases.
What about servicing and diode handpiece lifetime?
Diode module lifetime depends on workload, settings and care of the cooling circuit. Regular coolant replacement, cleaning of the sapphire window and periodic inspections per the IFU are essential. Future Life provides warranty and post-warranty service and helps you plan maintenance.
What are the main contraindications?
Typical contraindications include pregnancy, active infection or inflammation in the treatment area, a fresh tan or self-tanner, photosensitising medication (e.g. isotretinoin), a tendency to keloid scarring and suspicious lesions at the treatment site.
