Micro-Pulsed Technology

In addition to the classic dot mode, Ultraformer MPT offers a micro-pulsed mode that distributes energy more broadly in the target tissue layer. According to the manufacturer, MP mode delivers energy faster than normal mode, shortening treatment time and reducing operator fatigue.

Precise depths from skin to SMAS

Cartridges of 1.5–4.5 mm allow work in the dermis and at the SMAS level, while 6–13 mm cartridges target subcutaneous body tissue. The operator matches depth to anatomy and treatment goal.

Booster cartridges

Circular Booster cartridges deliver energy in a round pattern, making it easier to treat smaller and harder-to-reach areas such as around the mouth and eyes. They complement the classic linear cartridges.

Operator ergonomics

Lighter, slimmer handpieces and a choice of trigger type reduce hand fatigue over many daily treatments – important in clinics where HIFU is a core service.

Questions & answers

How does MPT differ from Ultraformer III?

Ultraformer MPT retains the cartridge depths familiar from Ultraformer III but adds the micro-pulsed mode, circular Booster cartridges and new handpieces – shortening treatment time and expanding treatable areas.

How are cartridges consumed?

HIFU cartridges have a manufacturer-defined number of lines (shots) and must be replaced once used up. Treatment cost therefore depends on the number of lines used per area – Future Life helps calculate cost per treatment and supplies original cartridges.

What are the contraindications for HIFU?

Key contraindications include pregnancy, active electronic implants (e.g. pacemaker), metal implants in the treatment area, open wounds, active skin infection or inflammation, cancer and bleeding disorders. Fillers in the treatment area require individual assessment by a physician. The full list is in the manufacturer's IFU.
